Secretary’s Thoughts

Well after the bad weather of the last few weeks and having to postpone the AGM, the weather is looking better and we have a chance to get into our sheds and some turning.

I hope that you enjoyed the last newsletter with description of the AWGB Training Day and the comments of the participants. As you will see from the minutes of the AGM we will be running another course soon. We have another four volunteers to take the course but if anyone else is interested please let me know.

It would be interesting if we could get someone to write some notes for the newsletter on their thoughts about the demonstrator day, how they enjoyed it or not, was it interesting, was it useful etc.. I can only keep the quality of this newsletter up and make it better if I have your support.

Please note that the meeting on August 29th. (which is August Bank Holiday Sunday) has been cancelled because the School will not be available. Richard Findlay was due to demonstrate that day and his visit has been brought forward to July 25th. The ‘Hands On’ day  which was scheduled for that day will probably be arranged for September 5th.

“Meeting has been re-arranged!”
